Sometimes you have to make your own FUN!

Today we had a rain storm and of course the kids got excited because they like to ride their bikes through the ditch. I know, GROSS, right? But, hey I figure it's rain water and it's moving pretty fast, and it's not like I let them drink it! Travis was really mischievious because he would ride his bike to where Caleb or Martie were and then purposely spray them with his back tire. Anyway, on boring Saturday's you have to make your own fun.

Same old, same old...

Well, I haven't updated in awhile because now that school has started every day pretty much has the same routine. I've been doing my own little preschool thing with Martie and Travis and it has really been fun. Travis is learning his letters and numbers and Martie is learning to copy everything Travis does. Caleb is really enjoying his school, but I wonder sometimes what they are learning because everyday I ask him what they did and he says..."Watched a movie." He's pretty tight-lipped about school. He did tell me that he plays basketball during recess and of course that makes me happy!! Travis was trying to get an extra cookie from me today and he said something kind of funny..."But Mom, if you give me one, then I won't take one." The kid sure needs to work on his bargaining. I have great kids, GOOFY, but great!

Cute Kids!

Martie and Travis looked so cute on Sunday! And so grown-up!

Fair and other Fun!

On Friday we went took the kiddo's to the State Fair. They had a blast. We got to see lots of animals and the kids were really excited to get a balloon each. Trav and Caleb got swords and Martie got a heart wand. It amazes me that they get excited over such silly little things. We had lots of goodies at the fair too, like cotton candy, tiger ears, corn dogs, etc. I love the Fair!

Travis wanted to go on this car ride, so we put him and Martie in the cars. Well, Travis decided at the last minute that he didn't want to, but Martie was already in the car. It was so funny when she started going around by herself and she kept glaring at us. I guess she was pretty upset that Trav ditched her on the ride. She ended up liking the ride by the end! It was pretty funny.

Caleb made us pretty nervous on some of the rides, because he gets motion sick. Luckily, we had no mishaps though! Travis really wanted to go on the helicopter ride, so Caleb was a nice brother and went with him. He does better on roller coasters than he does on "spinny" rides.
